The Carboniferous Karashayi Formation in Tahe Oilfield is one of the most promising formations field clastic rocks Oilfield, which rich hydrocarbon resources, but stratigraphic framework unclear, restricts exploration formation. features and seismic section analysis area combined with oil gas distribution are used to analyze reservoir control factors Formation. results show that lower part sedimentary strata overburdened top denuded. can be divided into four tertiary sequences seven system domains. reservoirs mainly developed near interface sequences. Good transport conditions unconformity cusp blocking also make marine intrusion domain a favorable location for accumulation. located on convex overburden background composite controlled by sharp extinction, influenced tectonics, fractures, lithology.
